I watched Celebrity Scissorhands last night for the first time. Nine celebrities battling it out to raise money for Children in Need. It's weird, to me I find cutting hair straight forward - you just have to think practically and visualise the sections that you're going to cut and where they'll sit once it lays flat. But I can totally understand where Steve Strange was coming from in last night's programme. Even though I've been working with hair for years it was only at college, being faced with my first new client that I actually remember thinking oh shite, where do I start? It's totally daunting but as long as you act confident the client is at ease. Steve didn't do that. But saying that he didn't have to. All in the name of charity mayte. ...It's worth watching if only to see how many times Lee Stafford says the word 'right' at the end of every sentence.
