After tearing out tons of pictures from glossy fashion mags I've finally decided on the theme for my shoot. Ok, well not a theme as such more like the inspiration behind a theme which I've not yet nailed down. I've long been a fan of the beautiful, one of the original supermodels Helena Christensen and admire everything about her career and style to date. And its her style that is inspiring; the gorgeous dresses-over-trousers look, the luxury patterned materials, the shimmery bold fuschia pinks and turquoises against tanned skin, the long dark hair and greeny-blue eyes. Its kinda ethnic, Indian, colourful, and just plain lovely.

Hair shoot part II : Helena Christensen

I've long been a fan of the beautiful, one of the original supermodels Helena Christensen and admire everything about her career and style to date. Hair shoot part I
I love doing creative things and am a complete grafter when it comes to getting stuck in to a project that I like so it comes as no surprise to me that I really want to put together a shoot to show off my own hair styling skills. The other weekend was Salon International in London and there was endless amounts of glamorous 'creativity' going on, from avant garde looks to catwalk and commercial styles that were truly inspirational. I will keep you posted - parden the pun bloggers - on my work in progress with this.
